"The Preacher Man": GodZone Ministry in association with Saving Oscar Productions Films a Gripping Tale of Heroism, Escape, and Faith
GodZone Ministry, a nondenominational organization dedicated to sharing the gospel through media, has completed principal photography on its latest feature film, "The Preacher Man." This compelling new movie, currently in the editing phase, promises to be a powerful narrative of unexpected heroism, a daring escape, and the transformative power of faith, set against a backdrop of small-town intrigue.
"The Preacher Man" tells the extraordinary story of Dan Flannigan, a federal convict whose act of courage in saving a fellow inmate's life thrust him into a dangerous battle for his own survival. When a prison gang retaliated with an attempt on his life, Dan made the difficult decision to escape. While on the run, fate led him to pose as a preacher in a small, unsuspecting town – a role he never anticipated. There, he discovers the local church under siege by a greedy land baron determined to acquire its property at any cost.
"This film is a journey that is funny, dramatic, and sad, and it will make audiences truly root for the convict," says David D. Ford. "We believe it has the potential to sweep across America, touching lives and winning awards."
The film features a talented cast including David D. Ford, Angela Harger Thompson, Lee Kelley, Elijah Rojas, and Major Dodge, among many others. "The Preacher Man" is directed by Angela Harger Thomson and Tye Jackson, and produced by Stuart Miller and David D. Ford.
With filming now complete, the project moves into an extensive editing phase, expected to take approximately one year. GodZone Ministry is actively seeking additional funding to support its dedicated team of editors in bringing this incredible story to the screen.
